Recipes: Mulled Wine
1 bottle Prairie Berry wine
2 tablespoons light brown sugar (adjust to taste)
2 tablespoons Prairie Berry Mulling Spice
1-2 orange segments
Combine ingredients in pan. For easy serving, put the mulling spice in a tea ball. Heat on medium until hot, but do NOT boil. Reduce heat to medium low and mull for 20-30 minutes. Strain (or remove the tea ball) and serve. Enjoy!
NOTE: Do not leave the mulling spice in the wine for more than 30 minutes, as the flavor will become too strong.
Pour it over a block of cream cheese and serve with crackers.
Try it as an ice cream topping, or with fresh biscuits.
